Supplier-link RFx: quotes without a portal signup
Traditional VMS programs stall when every vendor must create an account. Auvora sends a secure link for that event. They quote. You rank L1-L3. Award has an owner.
RFI, RFQ, RFP
RFx is the umbrella. Definitions: what is RFx.
What the buyer does
A requisition is already approved, or procurement opens an RFQ / RFP against a category. Invite the supplier set you already trust - or add a new vendor for this event only. Each invite is a link, not a "please register" email.
What the supplier does
- Opens the link. No standing portal password for a single event.
- Submits price, validity, and any documents you asked for.
- Sees confirmation. They are not dropped into a product they will never use again.
What procurement sees
Quotes land on one record. Rank L1, L2, L3. Award is a recorded action. Finance can open the same trail later. That is the difference versus email attachments and a spreadsheet named "final_v7".
Security of the link
The link is for that event. It is not a standing vendor account. Role-based access still applies on your side: hiring managers, procurement, and finance see their queues. Details: security page.
